I found there is a criticism on the permission of miidio Recorder (why does miidio Recorder need to modify global system settings?). That also tell me that I forget to update the permission explanation.

The latest version is:

  • Save: for audio storage
    • android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
  • Hardware Control: for recording
    • android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO
    • android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
  • Wake Lock: for recording while the phone closes screen.
    • android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
  • Network State: for ad
    • android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
  • Internet: for ad and linking with wikipedia for tag completion
    • android.permission.INTERNET
  • Write Settings (modify global system settings): for set recording as ringtone or notification sound.
    • android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS

Hope this post clear some misunderstandings.
